Bill needed some fresh air, and it was time to do another patrol of the place anyway, so he got up and went to the CCTV cameras and did his checks first before going outside. He always liked to have a look at them first just in case there was somebody lurking about in a quiet corner, so he could see them before they surprised him while out on a patrol.

After unlocking the door, Bill went outside and re-locking it to be on the safe side. The night air was getting seriously cold now and as he looked towards his car, could see it had almost frosted over. The newspaper had not done such a great job and had slid half-way down the screen, and it was starting to turn a frosted opaque colour. Everywhere was starting to take on that Christmas feel with everything going so white, like it had a little flutter of snow covering over every exposed surface.

It was time to go the opposite way around this time and Bill zipped his jacket all the way up, because the cold was biting now with a small breeze that had picked up. He could feel it flow straight though his entire body like he did not even have clothes on. This was not going to be a long walk about and as it was so cold, he thought maybe just a quick walk up the top end and back and then it would be time for another brew.
